A.R.E. Greater Boston Area

“For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.”

—Matthew 18:20

Start Your Own Group

Don’t find a group in your area? Or one that fits your schedule? Please consider starting one yourself with the help of our greater Boston study group coordinator, Patty McCarthy. Click here for Patty’s contact info.

  1. Where would my group meet?
Generally, groups regularly meet at the home of the volunteer host. Public spaces are also an option: the Quincy, MA group meets at a local church. Other groups have met at libraries. Click here for Patty’s contact info.
  2. What does it take to start my own group?
Starting a new group takes only one person with a strong interest in the Cayce material, a consistant approach, and the willingness to gather together with others. For details on what a study group is like, kindly read this FAQ. Click here for Patty’s contact info.
  3. How do I find people who want to come?
Patty will help find folks interested in attending your new group. At the first meeting there might be only one other person there... or there may be over 20. It depends on many factors, some of which include the size of the local population, number of local A.R.E. members (they’re the most likely to be interested), and, of course, how busy everyone’s schedule is. Over time you’ll find that there are those who attend reguarly and they will form the core fellowship group. Click here for Patty’s contact info.
  4. How do I get started?
Please contact Patty McCarthy. She’ll provide you with the guidance and materials needed to get your new Search for God study group going. And going, and going... Click here for Patty’s contact info.
  5. Can I get info to help me evaluate whether starting up a group is right for me?
Sure. Patty can provide additional details. Click here for Patty’s contact info.

(This should be called the Patty Page.)
